Magnificat! Bach, père et fils
The St. Lambert Choral Society, the Ensemble Vocal Polymnie (one hundred choristers and four soloists), accompanied by the Ensemble Sinfonia de Montréal, will perform two Magnificats: first, a splendid Baroque masterpiece by Johann Sebastian Bach, followed by a no-less glorious musical work composed by his son, Carl Philip Emmanuel Bach, who, inspired by his father’s unique classical style, wrote the piece as a tribute to him. Starts at 7:30pm.

The Demi-Marathon des Érables is a gourmet-themed half marathon race held as part of the celebrations surrounding the maple sugaring season.
