Fort Chambly National Historic Site

Your visit to Montérégie cannot be complete without stopping at Fort-Chambly, a unique historic site at the foot of the Richelieu River. Discover the history of the defenders of New France, their daily lives and their contributions to our history. Explore this imposing fortification erected in 1711 by putting yourself in the shoes of a soldier: dress up and take part in the various activities. A picturesque site that is both magnificent, strategic and family-friendly, take advantage of your visit to admire the presence of the stone fort. Free entry for young people aged 17 and under.
