Inaugurated in 1887, the Co-cathedral is neo-Gothic in style and features a neo-Byzantine dome; it is listed as a heritage building. Its museum, which was recently inaugurated, houses a collection of items that date back to the origins of the parish, in 1697. Its heritage value and unique character make it one of the most highly-ranked buildings in Québec. The Co-cathedral is part of the all-new circuit, the Saint Lawrence River Shrines, which includes 5 heritage and religious sites from Kahnawake to Varennes, through Longueuil and Boucherville.
