Musical Escapades are back for a 4th edition at Quartier DIX30. Every Saturday at 1:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., until August 24, children and adults are invited to discover artists who have made the crowds dance at the best festivals throughout free open-sky series of live performances in the heart of Quartier; irresistible musical moments in which traditional accents and contemporary sounds merge into MUSICAL ESCAPADES.
The musical diversity at the heart of the program:
This weekly programming builds the basis of a summer-long music festival, showcasing a riche variety of cultures. Expect a travel through sound discovering: percussion, Cuban rhythms, Brazilian, oriental influences, African and Mediterranean, funk, soul, gospel… There is something for everyone!
Delight your senses with beautiful music with artists such as The Royal Pickles, known both for their inspired New Orleans street music and to give swing a unique Montreal signature. In addition, Afrobeat, Reggae and Funk enthusiasts will be able to enjoy the performances of Rommel Ribeiro and Wesli, while fans of Jazz and Blues can also be transported in a musical journey with EMDE, MAKAYA and much more.
