Business is business! However, incorporating leisure into corporate activities can sometimes facilitate exchanges between businesspeople, as these idyllic locations are all near functional and welcoming meeting rooms.
In this article, we suggest 4 ways to combine business and pleasure in our beautiful Montérégie region.
1. Montérégie, a veritable spa paradise!

The Montérégie region is a spa paradise! Whether they are located in urban areas or the heart of nature, the region is full of places that promote relaxation.
In the heart of Mont-Saint-Hilaire, the Strøm Nordic Spa Mont-Saint-Hilaire offers moments of absolute contemplation. Built at the foot of Mont-Saint-Bruno, Förena cité thermale was inspired by the pioneers of thermotherapy – Iceland, Germany, and Russia – to offer you a variety of restful experiences. Located in the heart of the DIX30 district, the SKYSPA offers a unique urban spa concept, under the open sky and is focused on relaxation, but also leisure and entertainment.

After a long work session, a break in one of these spas is sure to recharge your batteries!
2. A team activity in one of our vineyards? What a great idea!

Our region is renowned for the quality of its cider houses and vineyards. These establishments warmly welcome you to discover their products and facilities through guided tours and tasting sessions. Some of these places even have magnificent reception rooms and delightful terraces.
In addition to producing a wide range of ciders, the Michel Jodoin cider house offers you the possibility of a pleasant hike on Mount Rougemont, the Coteau Rougemont vineyard and cider house offers you superb reception halls, and the Mas des Patriotes offers you unique certified organic wines.

At Domaine Vinéterra, picnic areas are set up to give you a chance to taste their wines while contemplating the splendour of Mont-Saint-Hilaire. Finally, the Minot cider house offers you the chance to visit its Musée du Grand-Père and its authentic wine press.
If you’re looking for a relaxing activity that is as instructive as it is stimulating, there’s no better way to spend a day than in one of these vineyards!
3. A hot air balloon flight: a unique experience… to say the least!

If you want to offer your clients a unique experience, a hot air balloon flight is a perfect activity. La Magie de l’Air and Balad’Air offer interesting group packages all year round.
With your pilot, you can take off with peace of mind. Give your clients a contemplative experience that will allow them to admire the Monteregian landscape at high altitudes.
4. Nature walks could give rise to good business ideas, who knows?
The Montérégie region is also a nature destination that includes 2 national parks, 12 regional and local parks, 6 mountains and 2 reserves recognized by UNESCO.

Of course, the parks sponsored by SEPAQ (Îles-de-Boucherville and Mont-Saint-Bruno national parks) are always great for cycling and hiking. However, the Montérégie region has much more to offer in terms of nature escapades.

Jardin Daniel A. Séguin offers a wide range of thematic gardens in an urban setting. It’s an ideal location if you’re looking to change your state of mind! At the Pointe-du-Moulin historical park, you can explore the interpretation centre, visit the Maison du Meunier and the old windmill, as well as stroll around and admire the magnificent view of the St. Lawrence River.
Located in Châteauguay, Saint-Bernard Island offers exceptional natural and heritage treasures that will delight you, and the archipelagos of Lac-Saint-Pierre will dazzle you with their hundred or so islands interspersed with marshes, bays and channels. You can even visit these archipelagos on a cruise!
You see? The Montérégie is full of landscapes, places and flavours that will allow you to integrate a little relaxation into your professional life, less than an hour from Montreal. What more could you want?
