The holidays at the Électrium: Fire up your neurons!

For the holiday season, the Électrium has a special lineup of free activities for the whole family! Science workshops led by Profaqua and guided tours of the new interpretation centre are sure to captivate the young and young at heart.

Fascinating free workshops for children ages six and up 
From December 27 to 30, 2018, and January 3 to 6, 2019, children ages six and up can take part in science workshops to discover shell fossils, explore units of measure, build and program robots, find out where animals find shelter and use pedal power to generate electrons. The Électrium is all about having fun while learning!

New look for the Électrium 
This year, take a guided tour of the Électrium’s galleries to admire the expanded nature zone, stimulating interactive installations and the new electric eel. There are several surprises in store to make your experience a memorable one!

Make the most of the holidays and discover—or rediscover—the Électrium, Hydro-Québec’s electricity interpretation centre, to learn about the various electrical phenomena in the world around us. Go on a guided tour and try the interactive installations to conduct electrifying experiments, discover the role of electricity in the human body, and even test who has the fastest reflexes!

Schedule
The Électrium is open from December 27 to 30, 2018, and January 3 to 6, 2019. Regular hours resume on January 7.

The Électrium is located in Sainte-Julie, Exit 87 off Highway 30, in the Montérégie region.
