Fort Lennox, located on \u00cele-aux-Noix in the heart of the Richelieu River, is a true hidden treasure. The journey begins with a boat crossing of the Richelieu River, then a short walking trail leads to the fort’s entrance, where visitors can take part in an outdoor guided tour presenting the site’s history, strategic position and the architecture of the fort and its buildings. Visitors can also take part in an interpretive activity on the British soldier’s uniform. The tour can be extended with a picnic on the pier or island. Fort Lennox, located on \u00cele-aux-Noix in the heart of the Richelieu River, is a true hidden treasure. The journey begins with a boat crossing of the Richelieu River, then a short walking trail leads to the fort’s entrance, where visitors can take part in an outdoor guided tour presenting the site’s history, strategic position and the architecture of the fort and its buildings.
