In addition to interactive and educational exhibitions, the museum invites you to board the Nature Hike, a three-hour excursion through the labyrinth of the Sorel Islands. Once aboard a zodiac boat, passionate captain-guides share fascinating stories, secrets, and legends about this remarkable place.

Every summer, for about ten days, downtown Sorel-Tracy comes alive during the Gib Fest. The festival offers a lively program with open-air shows, food trucks, artistic performances, sports activities and play zones for kids. For many, it’s the highlight of the season.

And because no celebration is complete without great food, regional cuisine plays a starring role. Gib Fest gives you the chance to try the famous Gibelotte of the Sorel Islands, a comforting dish whose heritage dates back over a century.
