About the circuit

Take the Route Verte from Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu to the US border (Vallée-des-Forts bike path) and then ride the Lake Champlain Bikeways network to Burlington! This magnificent bike route starts on quiet country roads among the fields of the Montérégie region and then follows the majestic Lake Champlain. You will discover the agricultural landscapes of the Isles and the urban bustle of Burlington. This route is on the road, although a portion is on a bike path between Grande Isle and Burlington. If you want to cover fewer kilometers per day, before crossing the border, take a detour to Venise-en-Québec for an overnight stay at La cache du lac Champlain, then resume your journey the next day.

Crossing the border by bike is easy and enjoyable, but don’t forget your passport!
