Jonathan B. Roy's bike trip on South Shore
Jonathan B. Roy is an adventurer and author who’s cycled the world, amassing nearly 40,000 km in 40 countries. His books, Histoires à dormir dehors, throw light on bike travel and the encounters that shape him. After touring western Montérégie, Jonathan saddled up with his usual globetrotting flair for a three-day bike trek exploring the South Shore. He was accompanied by his cameraman, Yanouk.

Settling into RécréoParc’s ready-to-camp accommodation for the night

Exploration of Old La Prairie, including a visit to the Société d’histoire de la Prairie Magdeleine
Exploration of Old Lambert, including lunch at El Gordo restaurant
Stop at Marie-Victorin Park to admire the view of Montreal
NAVARK river shuttle to Îles-de-Boucherville National Park Settle into the ready-to-camp site on Grosbois Island
DAY 3
Exploring parc national des Îles-de-Boucherville
Return home (Jonathan’s vehicle was dropped off at Îles-de-Boucherville by the Voyager à vélo shuttle service)
