About the circuit
The Chambly Canal bike path tracks the Richelieu river and offers an opportunity to discover the local history and nature. You’ll pedal among locks, peaceful riverbanks and forested segments with views of pleasure boaters and myriad species of birds.
There are stops along the way for enjoying the green spaces, learning about the legacy of New France or indulging in good food. Downtown Chambly or Old Saint-Jean and their charming shops are a great way
to cap the day. FYI, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu is an excellent spot from which to basecamp on a bike trip, with two hotels, including one that is Bienvenue cyclistes!, floating accommodations bordering the Richelieu river, and a campsite.
Ride in complete freedom! The cycle network awaits you, free of obstacles and roadworks, for a fun-filled outing!
