The proposed experience
A little architectural gem awaits you in Saint-Bruno de Montarville! The Saint-Augustine-de-Canterbury church is a unique example of modern Quebec heritage which is classified 'Inescapable A' by the Religious Heritage Council of Quebec. Designed in the middle of the century (1967) by the experienced architect Victor Prus (Palais des Congrès; Grand Théâtre de Québec, Conservatoire de musique de Québec), this place of worship “of unsuspected quality” reflects the philosophy of simplicity of the Franciscans who served the community at the time. The construction of natural materials, such as British Columbia cedar, ensures that the beauty increases over time.
